《NAQT VANE Comment》

We are delighted that NAQT VANE was able to provide the ending theme for "Yagami Eiko - Ueno Central Police Station Organized Crime Countermeasures Division -". We created the song with a dark and mysterious sound in mind, and we feel that this was a new approach for NAQT VANE. We hope that this song will link with the worldview and story of the drama, and that you will enjoy both the work and the music even more.
As a side note, having grown up in Taito Ward during my childhood, Ueno in Tokyo is a very familiar place to me, so I'm looking forward to future broadcasts as a viewer.

Hiroyuki SAWANO

The actors' breathtaking performances and the drama's serious yet free-spirited atmosphere were incredibly entertaining, and I was completely engrossed while watching it. The ending theme, "Breathe," is a song that allows you to appreciate even more deeply how Eiko Yagami fights as she delves into the darkness with her strong love.

【story】
Eiko Yagami (Meisa Kuroki), a detective in the Organized Crime Division of Ueno Central Police Station, continues to pursue the truth behind the mysterious death of her husband, Masaya (Katsuya Maikuma), a freelance writer. Meanwhile, in Ueno, the conflict between the "Tokyo Alliance," a semi-criminal group trying to expand its influence from Shinjuku, and the "Chinami Group," a violent gang that controls the city's underworld, intensifies. As Eiko continues her investigation, she teams up with Chinami Group's No. 2, Kai (Naoto Fujiki), and other figures from the underworld, and independently closes in on the heart of the case. Eventually, Eiko learns of the dark presence lurking behind her husband's death and the conflict. Furthermore, the appearance of Graniso (Ken Kojima), a Filipino hitman sent by the Tokyo Alliance, makes the conflict even more violent. Chinese mafia boss Yingli (Ryo), Eiko's superior in the organized crime division Kawakami (Hiroyuki Ikeuchi), and Gojo (Kengo Takara) of the Shinjuku South Police Station's organized crime division—as the intentions of these people, who may or may not be friend or foe, intertwine, Eiko steps into a line that a detective should never cross in order to seek the truth and revenge.
